Growing up as a classical pianist, sheet music never made total sense to me. In this piece, I visually deconstruct ‘Reunion Song’ from my EP ‘Slow Burn’
Using four layers of trace paper, I graphically laid out the arrangement, rhythmic, melodic, and lyrical elements of the track. After digitising these elements, I recomposed and recoloured them to resemble something more painterly
The result is a new piece in and of itself. A visual capsule of a temporal piece of work
